Resumen generado por ClustorBot

This study assesses the technical advisory and cooperation provided by the Cercapaz Programme to Colombian universities and academic centres between 2007 and 2014, focusing on their contribution to peacebuilding. It examines experiences developed in Bogotá and the regions of Caldas, Norte de Santander and Cesar, and assesses how cooperation strengthened the capacities of lecturers, students and university organisations to address conflict, violence, human rights and peacebuilding processes.

The publication identifies four main areas of intervention: education and training, university outreach, development of pedagogical and organisational capacities, and public awareness and advocacy. It also examines impacts on individuals, universities, networks and partnerships, as well as the policy field. The assessment identifies sustainability factors, lessons learned and recommendations for universities, public institutions, the private sector, civil society organisations and international cooperation.
